Walking up the secret stairs to the second floor of Brighton Hotel, will present you with a night filled with the latest hip hop from Australia and all around the world.

- A night, that starts with cheap entry and ending with plenty of cheap drinks under your belt.
Headlining the first ever Itchy Beats is the ever busy JOYRIDE. With a schedule consistently filled with national tours and appearances at every major Australian festival (often on multiple stages). Regarded by many as one of Australia’s top party DJs, his enviable presence and vibe behind the decks is almost dwarfed when compared with his achievements on the live circuit as member of hip-hop supergroups Spit Syndicate and The Tongue, as well as collaborations with a who’s who of the Aussie hip-hop industry including Urthboy, Horrorshow, Illy and more.
Main support is coming from the all mighty Thundamental’s DJ Morgs. As well as handling deck duties for the Thundamentals live shows, DJ Morgs has supported the likes of DJ Cash Money, Lord Finesse, DJ Premier, Q-Bert, Supernatural, Hermitude and The Herd to name a few. He has appeared doing cuts on Skryptcha and Spit Syndicate’s latest albums and toured as a DJ with Ozi Batla and Tuka.
Hailing from the Inner West of Sydney, producer and DJ Zarkov is regarded highly in the hip hop scene, having done remixes of Lotek, Pagen Elypsis, Spit Syndicate and Horrorshow. One half of hip hop duo, Jackie Onassis, are currently in the progress of recording their eagerly anticipated debut album, January.
Opening the night is Newcastle’s DJ Ntaprize. Often seen performing live with Mind Over Matter, Black Magic and Johnny Utah, Ntaprize has built an extremely epic reputation of getting the party started.
